This Relais et Chateaux is a jewelbox of a hotel that is the “passion project” of Eddie and Sylvia Brown who are local entrepreneurs in the Baltimore area. The attention to detail and mix of both contemporary flair with antique period pieces from the era in which the hotel was built adds up to being a winning formula!

Arrival Experience: You are greeted at the front door by a
valet who key cards you in to the arrival
lobby to wait for the concierge who will
then give you a tour of the property and
escort you to your room. The service is
personalized for each guest and only
guests can get beyond the arrival lobby
unless they have a dinner reservation.
Cleanliness: Hand sanitizer was strategically placed
all around the hotel including the
elevator. No one else was allowed in the
elevator at the same time. Once a room
was cleaned and sanitized after a
guests departure it is sealed off until the
next arrival. We were not allowed to see
any of the room product out of a
preponderance of caution.
Rooms: Although we couldn’t see the rooms we
know that each one is different and has
unique décor.
Service: 10 out of 10
