Chris Harrington brings over 3 and 1/2 decades of experience in the metals business to the table. In 2010, he launched Rockwell Metals Company. He believed that his commitment to customer service, combined with his deep knowledge of the metals industry, would be highly valuable to a variety of industries.
Today Rockwell Metals ships millions of pounds of aluminum products to its partners in the commercial transportation industry each year.
Harrington credits much of his success to his approach to service. There are no “customers” at Rockwell Metals. There are only “partners.” By forming “partnerships,” Rockwell Metals Comany becomes a valuable member of a customer’s team. It also helps that Rockwell delivers quality products on time and on budget!
Chris grew up in the Detroit area. He attended Albion College, where he was a competitive swimmer, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management in 1979. He earned his MBA from Wayne State University in 1983.
Chris came to Cleveland in 1989 and, for many years, he was Executive Vice President of Aluminum Line Products Co. He left in 2010 to co-found Rockwell Metals Company in Lorain.
Chris is also active in his community. He is Chairman of the Board of the Community West Foundation which supports organizations that provide basic needs programs and services the under-privileged in Cleveland, Western Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.
